JEONG-YOON CHOI

ABOUT ARTIST CHOI JEONG-YOON The work of Choi Jeong-Yoon is mainly in ceramics and installation art. He believes the conceptual truth of the root of human culture and desire is a sword, and attempts to visualize it. The artist’s viewpoint on a sword is not focused on its destructive function. He recognizes a sword as an object with a more original and productive function. The form of swod is remade in his work, and the organic shapes of flowers with dyed threads in splendid colors is combined to create a new form. The artist’s idea about the essence of flowers is their desirability, hidden under splendor. Thus, it goes with his idea on a sword that believes it as a conceptual truth of human desire....

JUNYOUNG KANG

ABOUT ARTIST KANG JUN YOUNG The artwork by artist, Junyoung Kang, is a mix of energy and turbulence, giving us the feeling of looking at graffiti. His colorful style and color ranges were influenced by the street pop culture during his childhood in Australia. His first solo exhibition was held in 2006 after he was awarded the grand prize from Icheon International Ceramic Expo that same year. He has been active in the global art scene, particularly in Europe and Asia. The main theme of his art is “Family Love”. ABOUT ARTIST GABOMI Young Japanese artist GABOMI. never had formal education in photography but became a respected professional in the field through a combination of commercial and creative exhibitions. She won several awards for her work in recent years. GABOMI. travels often and incorporates different cultures and lifestyles into an ongoing exploration of shape and color. ABOUT ARTIST JOO JUNG MIN A world of plants comes to life in varied colors in Joo Jung Min’s artwork. Joo captured the changing color of life, seasons, and of emotions of being with someone, in a mysterious colossal world of imaginative nature. The artist’s forest becomes the viewer’s forest as it reminds us that we, humans, in the end, belong to nature. The imaginative forest and its plants are recreated in a collage, in which each pieces are drawn, cut, and attached one by one by the artist herself. She combines these two images, by expressing through dynamic gesture and straight lines from the object and surroundings. These two contrary scenes always exist in our life harmoniously. ABOUT ARTIST WANG ZI WON   Wang believes that human body is the most important thing for human to be a human being. After a car accident, he realized how precious it is and started to express his belief in humanities. Living in this technological world, he started to apply a mechanics to his artworks which is partially contradiction of life; using CAD software, programming boards and gears.
